Real Active is proud to have conceptualized and led the execution of BloomSF, a weeklong celebration at the end of March designed to bring employees and visitors back to the City.

Real Active collaborated with Mayor London Breed’s Downtown Recovery team from the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) and organized the participating venues (Ferry Building, Embarcadero Center, Salesforce Transit Center, Westfield Centre, The Crossing at East Cut) and organizations  (East Cut Community Benefit District and the Union Square Alliance) to revitalize downtown with a series of events, activities and entertainment. To provide visual cues that change was afoot, a series of floral art installations were located at major transit points.

Kicked off by Mayor Breed’s press event, all local TV stations covered BloomSF with a total of 37 live broadcast segments. Print and digital coverage was extensive including national outlets Bloomberg, Microsoft News, Yahoo News and iHeartRadio. Gross impressions exceeded 147 million and total media value was over $1.7 million. Lastly, attendance at participating venues was on average 23% higher compared to the previous week.
